Welcome back to one of NSCDUV's most beloved daily features, which takes aim at the most confounding, misleading or abruptly hysterical info-bar synopses of the day's cable programming.

And while yesterday saw a John Cassavetes classic get reconfigured as a silent short, today our remote sails us to a land where the impossible has been imposed on viewers: the woeful comedic "talents" of both Robin Williams and Tom Arnold.

Today's entry is:

Nine Months
The Actual Story: Julianne Moore and Hugh Grant are a couple so vanilla they needed a double whammy of wacky mid-level comic relief: Arnold and Joan Cusack as their brood-birthing best-friend married pals, and Williams, doing a bizarre preparation for his future roles in both Patch Adams and License To Wed as their wacky, foreign OBGYN. Oh, right, and they go through relationship issues and stuff after Grant goes through selfish man-isms in response to the unplanned bundle of burden.
Cable-Info Bar Synopses: "Girlfriend's pregnancy panics yuppie."
What Their Descriptions Would Have You Believe: Grant (who's no stranger to the Info-Bar by the way), an ambitious career man on his way to the top of the firm, feels his upward mobility will be halted by the unexpected news of having knocked his ladyfriend up. Torn between the prospect of raising a family he never asked for and seeing his name next to Deutsch and Moskowitz' above the reception desk, he spirals into a murderous rage. And the only person who can help Moore prevent the untimely death of their child is... Tom Arnold. Hmmm, I smell loosely inspired remake?
