Yesterday, we blew out the candles for the great sailor-cum-comic Sinbad, but today we put the icing on the cake for one of the 20th century's finest athletes-turned-broadcasters-turned-husband of Mrs. Huxtable.

Why He's Sort Of Awesome: Because he managed to not only score touchdowns with the Minnesota Vikings, but also slammed dunk Phylicia Rashad (aka Bill's proto-MILF cuddle companion on The Cosby Show) before landing a gig on the nostalgic Saturday morning sports show, NBA Inside Stuff, which was ostensibly This Week In Baseball for kids who dug hoops. However, it's doubtful that show's creaky old host, Mel Allen, could have dribbled his marital engagements from ravishing Rashad to Sale Johnson, the filthy rich ex-wife of Johnson & Johnson namesake Woody.
Most Likely Celebrity Status 20 Birthdays From Now: Two words: Who fucking cares? Dude's got money, one-time pigskin glory that he never spoiled by, say, allegedly trying to kill his wife and then robbing someone at gun point, and as much baby powder as he'll ever need in case his near-80-year-old balls start sagging and creating too much crotchal moisture.
