Yesterday, we blew out the androgynous candles for diva-licious gender-bender RuPaul, and today we wish happy one year older to a third-rate Bill Cosby for the hip-hop generation who shares a name with a fictional sailor.

Why He's Sort Of Awesome: He was unafraid to sport sweaters that would have made the Coz blush, refused to go dirty even when he more or less existed as the butt of jokes for racier comedians, and somehow managed to go on a bizarrely successful run as a wacky upsetter of the suburban white man in mid-'90s farces Houseguest and Jingle All The Way. And possibly escaped the latter with less collateral career damage than Arnold Schwarzenegger.
